Baby Shower!
With my due date only 4 weeks away it was wonderful to celebrate the arrival of Baby Williams with an awesome baby shower, surrounded with my family and friends. The food was delicious and the company…even better. Thank you Chrissy, Sheri, Nancy, Kerry, and Sara for hosting such an awesome event!
Baker is so excited to be a big sister!
My friend’s husband wrote this children’s book. He signed it and I can’t wait to share it with the baby.
You guessed it…Baker opened every present and loved every moment of it!
This kangaroo is for the baby, but Baker is taking good care of it until he or she arrives.
It was so nice to have my mom there to celebrate with me!
Making a trip with Grand-Grand and Ms. Teresa to see the baby chicks.
I was happy my family could make the trip from Atlanta: my step-mom, Aunt Laura and Grandmother Martha.
This picture melts my heart! Landon and Baker are off to water the flowers!

Sunday Lunch at Granny’s!
We enjoyed our last visit to Williston before the Baby Williams makes his/her arrival.
Baker was excited to show us her Bebe’s restaurant in Springfield.
After church, all the cousins gathered at Granny’s for lunch and an Easter egg hunt.
Wow! Granny’s house was filled with energy and excitement. The house was filled with 7 kids under the age of 5. (Baby Kylie didn’t make it into the picture.)
Yes…Baker is hunting eggs with no shoes! I tried!
Baker comparing eggs with her cousin Sayde.
Final egg count with daddy…11 eggs.
This gang always has fun together!

Bingos!
We had a great start to our weekend last Friday! We walked out of the house to find our yard covered with a flock of flamingos or as Baker calls them “pink bingos”! At first she thought they were real and wouldn’t go up to them! Our new yard decorations sure had the neighborhood talking. It was actually a fundraiser for church and one of my students paid to have them put up in the yard. Thanks Taylor!
Baker loved them.

Bouncy Fun!
Last weekend we made a trip to Augusta to help Sayde (Baker’s cousin) celebrate her 5th birthday. This was Baker’s 1st experience at Monkey Joe’s. I’ve tried to avoid the place in fear of the massive headaches caused from screaming and bouncy kids..jacked up on cake and coke. Baker LOVES inflatables and truly had a blast visiting with all her cousins.

Baker and Baby Update!
It really hit us on Sunday as Baker stood (front row, far right)singing in church that she is growing up! Since January, we’ve traded dance for choir and Baker has loved every moment. We were so proud that she made it though this performance (Her Christmas program at school was more drama than singing.).
On Monday, we had a blast making Valentine’s for her classmates. Baker enjoys coloring, painting, cutting and using glue sticks..anything that can make a mess. Her favorite thing to draw is a smiley face and it’s precious! I have to take a picture of one! We’re still battling the “Threatening Threes”, but every day God reminds us of what a wonderful gift He’s given us!
I’m really starting to feel great! The baby is super active and loves to wake me up at 4am..kicking and moving around. It’s such a wonderful feeling and I’m taking in every moment or kick! It’s been strange referring to the baby as “it”. I’m thinking it’s a boy, but I’m trying not to get it in my mind because if it’s a girl, I will be shocked. I’ve picked out a girl’s name and a boy’s name. Next step…convincing Lacy to like them!
This is a sign that Baker’s ready for the pool! She loved bath time last night!

Mom or Teacher?
On Thursday, Baker and I celebrated the return of Lacy! He was in Tampa all week with business and man was life a little harder without him. We went to bed later this week and I was late for work! But…Baker and I did enjoy some girl time, which was awesome! This week I learned to relax a little more and just enjoy her “spirit”. Baker enjoys every moment of life and truly never slows down! My assistant gave me some great advice. She told me that I could be Baker’s teacher or her mother. After teaching all day it’s hard to take that hat off, but it’s been so much more fun to just be a mom!
Lacy and I try at least once a week to get Baker on her bike, to practice pedaling. She’s not very fond of it, but gets better each week.
This weekend Baker and I made her valentine’s for her class. Since they are not allowed to give out food or candy, I thought it would be fun to attempt making heart shaped crayons (shout out to my student teacher for the idea!). We thought they turned out super cute! Baker really enjoyed seeing the process of breaking the crayons into pieces and melting them. The Valentine’s Day card will say… “Happy Valentine’s Day for “crayon” out loud!”
