This was super easy and cheap! For the blog post I left off our address, phone number and email. We are keeping Baker's party very small~family only. In the years to come I'm sure we're going to have some major parties for her, with all our family and friends. After all, she not going to remember this party! I'm going to try to not spend the day crying about how much she's growing up and how FAST time really does go. WOW! My baby will be 1 in a few weeks!

Backyard Fun! Just Tilt Your Head!

I cannot figure out how to turn this video! The ending is the best! Just tilt your head and enjoy!

Colin's Visit (a month ago!)

Things were so busy last month that I forgot to blog about the highlight of our month! Uncle Colin made a surprise trip to Atlanta for business and we met him for dinner in Commerce. It was wonderful to see him and catch up all that we're missing in each other's lives! We hope to see him again at Christmas!
I should have cropped out the Waffle House sign!

Dinner at a restaurant with Baker is a constant juggle. We all have to take turns entertaining her!

Baker's 1st Week in Her New Classroom

Baker just completed her 1st week in her new classroom, the Creepers and Crawlers. She has adjusted very well. Everyday I pick her up, she's dirty from head to toe. I have to wipe her down before I take her into the grocery store! There's no longer such a thing as a bath every other day. Bath time is now every night! It's just a sign that she's playing hard. She's down to one nap a day. I'm wondering how that's going to work on the weekends! She's taking 4 steps and loves getting into EVERYTHING. There were some nights this week she didn't eat dinner because she was so exhausted. Our little girl is really growing up! She loves sitting in her chair and won't get out until you pick her up or she screams for you.

Grandy and Boopie made a trip to the Upstate last weekend to visit little Miss Baker. She loved all the attention, her 1st pair of Carhart overalls, and the adorable chair. We hope they come back soon!

Best Buds!

Baker and Kota have discovered a new trick! It has been very difficult keeping Baker from feeding Kota her snacks. Her teething biscuits are a favorite of Kota's. It's amazing how fast those disappear from her hands! Kota is so gentle with Baker. Baker loves taking Kota's toys from him and chasing him around the house. I can only imagine what it's going to be like when Baker starts walking! She took her 1st steps this week! I missed it, but Lacy and my dad were able to witness it.
Oops! Did you see that?

A Visit From Nicole!

Baker and I had a wonderful Saturday! Nicole came for a visit while the guys went to the game. You know when a friend comes to visit because the visit is relaxing! We had a blast just sitting around, eating, watching the game on the computer (Nicole..not so much, but Janae and I did) talking about everything, and staying dry (There was a monsoon all day Saturday.).
Oh no!! Did the Tigers lose AGAIN? I hope daddy takes it well!

Baker loves looking at the pictures on the fridge. I'm in the process of getting a picture of every family member and close friend to put on the lower part of the fridge. Everyday she points to the pictures and I tell her the names. It really is entertaining for her. It should keep her occupied for a while since we have such a large family and great group of friends!

Of course the Fairy Godmother (and Godfather, for some reason we didn't get a picture of Baker with Len. He did read her a story and put her to bed!) arrived with bags of goodies for little Miss Baker. In case you didn't know, it is Nicole's duty to keep Baker well dressed!
