Packing Her Bags!

You have to watch the end of the video. Baker has started using sign language. It's hard to say no to her when she says please!

From Coats to Bags!

Baker has a new love....bags! Anything with a strap, she loves to put her arm through it and off she goes. It melts my heart to see her walk into daycare with her bookbag on her back, ready to start the day. She really is growing up way too fast! She still has a love for her coats. When I pick her up from daycare, she's the only child in her classroom playing with a coat on!

Double Whammy

Maybe I should've entitled this one "Turkey Head". I would be mad too if I couldn't find my food because it was stuck on my head! I really try not to be one of those parents who takes their child to the doctor for every little thing, but it seems we get to visit Dr. Moseley once a month. Since Baker goes to daycare and has breathing "issues", I'm use to the wheezing, coughing, running nose thing. After day 4 of a fever, I decided I should take her in. I felt so silly taking her because she was running around and playing, but I didn't want her around other kids if she had a fever. Well...as I suspected, Dr. Moseley upped her breathing treatments. Yippee!! Just what I wanted! Then she checked Baker's ears and to my surprise she had a double ear infection. Dr. Moseley just thinks Baker is a happy sick kid, which I think can be a little scary.

Attitude??

I've been working with Baker on putting her toys and dirty clothes away. This morning as we were getting ready for school, I saw a "teachable" moment! She picked up her empty bucket of blocks. I gazed at the blocks all over the floor and thought "let's tidy up a bit". Check out the video of my "teachable" moment. The shoulder roll says it all! I think manging my group of 20 kindergartners is easier than this little munchkin! Good thing she's cute! :) I'm sure my parents are reading this and thinking "pay back"! I'm just thinking "it's a stage", after all..Baker is a great kid!

Just A Little Strange!

I promise we do provide Baker with a warm and cozy house, but she still insist on wearing a coat or caring it around with her. She loves coats! Her teachers at daycare commented that she pouts and reaches for her coat on the rack in her classroom. She does the same thing at her closet in her bedroom.

2nd coat of the morning!

Lights!

The day after Christmas we went to see the lights at Riverbanks Zoo. It was beautiful and we all had so much fun! I can't wait to take Baker back to see all the animals!
The bunnies were more Baker's speed!

The cow and larger farm animals terrified Baker!

Good thing the wagon has a seat belt!

Baker's 2nd Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas will our families in Williston. We did 5 Christmases in 1 day! Baker was so excited to go see what Santa left in her stocking.
Visiting with her cousins, Sayde and Jackson

Baker LOVES her wagon from Santa (Gigi and Poppie).

The stockings were great, so Baker couldn't wait to see what was under the tree!

The best Christmas gift ever~time with Uncle Colin! He flew in from Arizona for a few days.
