Bunny Baker

The look of Spring Break! I'm looking forward to spending a week with my baby girl. I see many snuggling naps in our future this week.
My Uncle T always makes the goofiest faces.

Aha!! My bunny has no arms!!

Really Uncle Nick!! Sitting me in my Easter basket?

1st the basket...now the paint bucket? Yes..Mommy and Daddy got a paint bucket filled with supplies for our new house.

I missed getting my picture made with the Easter Bunny because I had a fever. It broke GiGi's heart, so she bought me some bunny ears. I'm already playing dress up.

We spent Baker's 1st Easter in Williston. We had such a nice time. Baker and I went to 2 church services while Lacy enjoyed Sunday at the Master's with his good friends Luke, Len, and Jason. He also enjoyed sitting at hole 3 with Chris, aka Granny. It was nice to visit with everyone since it will probably be a while until we visit again. We will return in July for Baker baptism. My grandfather, Papa B will baptize her. He baptized me as well as married me and Lacy. What a special moment it's going to be. Between grandparents, aunts, and uncles Baker did get a little spoiled this weekend.

Baby Baker Update!

Now that Baker is turning 5 months old this week, I thought it might be a good time to update everyone on how she's growing and amazing us each day. She's the best thing to happen to us. What a miracle!
  • She's sleeping through the night! Yippee! I hope I just didn't jinks us. I never realized how much I missed a full night's sleep.
  • She's loves eating all fruits. Bananas are her favorite! She takes after her mom! We start on vegetables next week. I hope it goes well. There's nothing more aggravating than a picky eater.
  • She recognizes her bottle and gets excited, with a wide open mouth.
  • We have found some shoes that fit her! She's in a size 1. Yes...size 1 is for babies 6 weeks to 3 months, but she does have narrow feet.
  • Baker loves her brother Kota! She enjoys watching him and laughing at him. It tickles her that he greets us at the door when we get home.
  • Baker is really getting into listening to stories. She looks at the pictures as I read and even laughs and smiles.
  • She's teething! She can get really fussy and runs a fever. Thank the Lord for Tylenol and teething tablets.
  • The doctor thinks that Baker has allergies or it could have something to do with her teething. She gets really congested and does a lot of wheezing. It's so pitiful.
  • She's rolls all over the place and is even trying to sit up.
  • She's had her 1st fall! There's a reason they have buckles on the swing. She slid right out and onto the floor. I did a face dive, but was too late. She was fine and only cried for a minute. I think it scared her more than anything. I'm sure my screaming and diving didn't help her.
  • She's still tiny for her age. 3 months clothes are a perfect fit; although I think she's starting to move up to 3-6 months clothes.

Baker's 1st Concert!

Baker with the star of the evening.
Baker enjoys her behind the scenes visit with Uncle T. It took forever to get Baker to look at the camera because she was so fixated on the steel drums.

Baker makes my life wonderful!! (Thanks for the precious outfit Nicole and Len. You guys already have her rotten!)

Gi-Gi and Uncle Nick made a visit to the Upstate for Uncle Nick's college tour. He has to decide between Clemson, Furman, and Wofford. While they were here we were all able to enjoy Uncle T's steel drum concert. It was Baker's 1st concert and she was enthralled with all the sounds. What a nice treat to start the work week!

We did it!

Well...the Williams Family made it to early church! It's the 1st time we've taken on the challenge of going to church since the Christmas Eve disaster. On Christmas Eve, I had to leave the service because Baker chose to scream the entire service. (They did not have a nursery for that service.) We all had a much better experience this go around. Baker is older now and really had a great time in the nursery. Of course the nursery worker's 1st question was "Was she a preemie?". No!!! She's just a "petite" girl. If felt so good to go back. We're looking forward to Easter Sunday.
