Twas the Night Before Christmas-Baker Style!

It wouldn't be Christmas Eve without an eventful night! Baker thought it would be fun to walk in front of Uncle T as he was walking and of course this led to Baker slamming into the floor, cutting her lip with her teeth. It was a nasty, loud, and bloody fall. It was just the 1st of many falls. After a very eventful night, it was nice to end it reading, The Night Before Christmas, to Baker.
Baker and I both had to have an emergency shower because as we were walking out the door from her busted lip episode Baker decided to projectile vomit all over me...and even made it into my mouth!

Check out the lip!

Breathing Treatments!

Baker is on week 3 of breathing treatments. We were doing 4 a day, but are down to 2 a day until April! The doctor hopes this will help with Baker's coughing and wheezing. We have seen some improvements, but we just wish she would get use to the treatments! It is 10 minutes of crying, screaming, kicking, hitting, and pulling. She is actually calm for these pictures. It must be the calming touch of Uncle Nick!

From Pillar to Post!

At 5:30 on a Friday afternoon, I came up with the bright idea to use Baker's hand print to make 16 Christmas cards! What was I thinking?? We had paint everywhere! Lacy was so nervous he had to leave the room. I was just painting her hand, but look what happened! Let's just say the cards didn't turn out how I had imagined but they're still something to cherish and the memory of making them is even better.

All clean! Oh yes..there was so much paint the water turned green!

The Hunt for the Perfect Christmas Tree!

Lacy and I both grew up having real Christmas trees, so it was at the top of our list to take Baker to a Christmas Tree Farm to find the perfect tree! We found a family owned farm a few miles from our house and the people were so nice. It was not crowed at all and all the trees were beautiful! It was a tough decision! Now..the fun begins! Putting it up and decorating!

Oh Clemson!

Baker was the only thing that made us smile yesterday as we were watching the game!
She needs constant supervision! It really is a full time job!

Her face says it all! She knows she's been caught!

Thanksgiving in Pinopolis!

This year we went to Pinopolis to have Thanksgiving with Lacy's family. It was my 1st Thanksgiving without my family, but we had a wonderful time and delicious meal in Pinolopis. Overall..Baker did well with the 4 hour drive. Since she's learned to walk, it's hard to keep her confined in anything for long.
Baker enjoyed visiting with Ms. Gail, her Bebe's best friend.

Feed me! Baker's favorite dishes were sweet potato casserole, squash, green beans, and turkey. She loves to feed herself. Let's just say the table cloth had a few stains after Baker was finished.

My Little Puddin'

While I was on the phone, Baker decided she would take control of feeding herself! Pure bliss!
